The Bubble’s (& God’s) Books
I am going to make this be a page where I start posting authors, books, and reviews for the things I love over here. Feel free to leave comments on who you like, and what you read!!
1. Bryan Davis
Read my reviews here and here and you’ll get it. I reccommend ALL of his books because they amaze me (though I can’t admit that I have read every single one of his books – I will however – I will tell you to still read any of them, because anything he does and has written is worth reading because it is his!)
2. Ryan Dobson
So far, a wonderful book called Be Intolerant, with the 100 times I have read the book it always teaches me something new. The underlying value about this book, is that you can love people and be intolerant of their lifestyle. We were not born to hate or judge, we were born to love one another and save each other. We shall not judge gay people, druggies, athiests, murderers, or friends who have turned their backs to us – instead we can love them and show them who God is. We can share with the world, as long as we do our job with love and kindness we can say we are truly children of God. Pop over here to read my post: The Bridge is out to read what he has to say, and what I have to say about Being Intolerant in love. Do you get the nickname: ybtolerant now? (Why be tolerant?) Tolerance of sin only breeds more, which in turn lets the devil run God’s creation.
3. Hayley Dimarco
As a young adult, she relates to teens and shares her transitions of life. Hayley writes many books and they all send a message from God through her about life, and the pressures, and stress that teenagers go through. This is my blog post about her book; How Sexy is too Sexy?. It is one of my favorite books that she writes because it is directed towards young woman, and how we affect society with our appearance. The way boys lust after us, isn’t JUST their fault. Also the author of Technical virgin, she shares with young girls that no matter how far you go you can always be accpeted back into the arms of your Heavenly Father. the books shares what God views as acceptable versus what society teaches, and how to stay pure when confronted with the problems we may encounter. She clearlys shows us teens with hormones where boundaries are, how to make them and how to be responisble with relationships. She opens up and wants to share with young people about how dangerous the world can be. Honest and loving, she says what Christian parents might not feel comfortable talking about. Her and Ryan Dobson know what to say without crossing the lines. Also see Every Young Woman’s Battle, by Shannon Ethridge, and Stephen Arterburn about young women staying pure in a sex saturated world.
