One of the coolest thing happened today! (In my opinion)
Someone might think I am crazy because I enjoy school – my reply “I’m not crazy, the world is just too sane.”
Well on certain days we have this advisory class in between actual periods, and kind of sucks because it isn’t a credit, but its ok because we can hang out for a 30 minute break/study hall. It’s supposed to help us choose what path we want to go down, or help us with homework or schoolwork and track where we are. It does to some extent, and it also gives us the opportunity to meet other kids outside of our cliques, or reflect on who we are.
Today my teacher gave us an otpion to create a time capsule and put it in our own individual folders. I think thats cool, and I was so excited to do it. Nobody else really did it that I saw.
So, being the weirdo I am, I already had song lyrics down in my notebook, 3 pages of my favorite quotes printed off and a sign one of my girlfriends made me. I also drew a peace love and rock & roll sign, and wrote 2 pages of the recent weird stuff that’s happened, thoughts and future advice & things like that.
I was so excited, ^_^ I still am. I’m going to keep putting things in there, and then when I’m a senior, I will go back to that class and grab my folder.
I just think its so cool to have something that you can go back and look at when you are older, something that shows you who you are, or were and is your own to have for as long as you want. You can be completely honest, you can talk about your day, you can talk about yourself, you can talk about your family, you can just talk about everything and it doesn’t really matter at all. I just happened to have alot to say. It’s weird how I can go on and on when I am talking to someone, but when I’m writing I really can’t stop. It’s like talking to myself, My future self to be exact.Anyways. It’s pretty much Christmas time, and soooo Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!
